We are looking forward to the weekend! So glad to see a little dusting of snow. It was so dry and warm when we were up over the Christmas Holiday.

The last time I ever been to Lake Arrowhead was 1973 and it was rustic and rode my BSA motorcycle there and around the rim of the world. I ve been here in northern california for 24 yrs and like it but will never forget lake Arrowhead, and growing up in San Gabriel Valley. Something about the place nustled in the San Gabriel Mountains and it away form the city life of LA.

I love seeing where I spent 20 years of my youth - I loved the lake - waterskiing morning and evening...too choppy during the day. Fireworks on the lake...our parents had a summer place in the 50's, 60's and early 70's converting to primary residence. I can still hear waves slapping against the boat and dock..it was a beautiful time. Jesens were good friends of ours - my first job was in the bakery..oh that onion cheese bread...yum. My brother played football and graduated from Rim... Great memories.
